The Synaptic Basis of Disease Satellite Symposium will take place at the CMU (Centre Médical Universitaire), First floor, Auditorium A250.

How to get there:
- From the airport to the CMU:
Take escalator to departure level, make a left when stepping out of the building and take bus no 5 (direction "Hôpital"), stop at "Hôpital" (29 min).
* You can pick up a free ticket for public transport (valid for 90 min on the entire Geneva city network) from the ticket machine in the baggage claim area at the arrival level (on the left side, before customs).
- From the airport to train station/city center:
By bus: take escalator to departure level, make a left when stepping out of the building and take bus no 5 (direction "Hôpital") or no 10 (direction "Onex-Cité"), stop at "Cornavin" (12 min).
OR by train: Turn left after customs and take escalator down to train station. Any train will stop at the Geneva main train station (6 min).
- From Cornavin railway station to CMU:
Get out of the station and take bus 5 (direction "Hôpital") and stop at "Hôpital" (15 min). From this stop, walk about 100 m direction CMU (click on maps below)

* Tickets for public transportation within Geneva, trains from the airport station included, must be bought before getting on the transport. At each stop, there is a vending machine, with information on tarification (in French and English). 1 hour = CHF 3 or 2 €. Caution: the vending machine won't give you change. Busses run approximately every 8 minutes, every 15 minutes on weekends.
* For people staying at hotels, you can benefit from the free geneva transport card (obtained upon check-in in the hotel).

Currency
The currency used in Switzerland in the Swiss Franc (CHF). However, Euros (€) are often accepted. Offices can be found at the airport and Geneva main train station.
